Prime Video confirms Reacher Season 4, to adapt Lee Child’s Gone Tomorrow
Movieweb reports that Prime Video has confirmed Reacher Season 4, announcing the renewal in late 2024 and ordering another eight episodes to match the previous runs.
The upcoming season will adapt Lee Child’s 2009 novel Gone Tomorrow, returning the series to New York City as Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson) finds himself torn over whether to foil what he believes to be a terrorist attack; if the season honors the book, it is expected to use flashbacks. Showrunner Nick Santora faces pressure to uphold the series’ 96% overall Rotten Tomatoes score. The main cast listing includes Alan Ritchson as Jack Reacher, Sydelle Noel as Tamara Green, Christopher Rodriguez-Marquette as Jacob Merrick, Anggun as Amisha Hoth, Agnez Mo as Lila Hoth, and Kevin Corrigan as Shaun Docherty, with recurring guests reportedly including Marc Blucas, Kathleen Robertson, Kevin Weisman and Dean Armstrong.
Prime Video has not given an official release date, but the show is expected to return at some point in 2026, with mid-to-late 2026 described as a reasonable window based on past turnaround times; the most recent season finale aired March 27, 2025. The Neagley spinoff reportedly wrapped in June 2025 and is likely to premiere before Reacher’s return, and Maria Sten’s Frances Neagley is currently expected to be absent or limited to a brief cameo.
