Ready or Not 2: Here I Come — An Unhinged, Bloody Sequel
Ready or Not 2: Here I Come picks up the instant the first film ends, with Grace taken to the hospital and immediately under suspicion after the massacre at the Le Domas mansion. Her estranged sister Faith appears, then both are knocked out and thrown into another brutal game: the world’s most powerful families must kill Grace or lose their fortunes and power, while the winner claims the High Seat of the Council that controls the entire world.
Directors Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli‑Olpin, with writers Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy, expand the universe in clever ways. The new ritual‑filled contest introduces many rules and alternates, overseen in part by “The Lawyer” (Elijah Wood), and at times the mechanics feel more complex than the original hide‑and‑seek premise required.
That extra complexity also opens space for scheming, surprises, and a higher baseline of lunacy.
