Reba McEntire's 'Whoa!' Reaction to JoAnna Garcia Swisher on Happy's Place
Season 2 of Happy's Place took a reunion to new heights when JoAnna Garcia Swisher stopped by Reba McEntire's Knoxville tavern. Swisher, who played Cheyenne on Reba — the daughter of McEntire's character and eventual stepdaughter of Melissa Peterman's Barbra Jean — joined the cast for a warmly received comeback.
The episode "Social Discontent" begins with Isabella rallying the tavern staff for a social media campaign and pitching Bobbie as the bar's mascot. Bobbie quickly proves to be camera-crazy, so Isabella hires influencer and aspiring actress Kenzie. When Kenzie arrives, Bobbie's jaw drops and she exclaims, "Whoa!
You could be my daughter!" to uproarious applause. Kenzie touts her range — "On Law & Order, I played a 50-year-old dead body," and then adds, "I was 20!" — and spends the day shadowing Bobbie. Her mimicry uncovers lingering tension between Bobbie and Emmett, and Kenzie quips, "Breakups are hard, my parents got divorced.
