Rebecca Ferguson confirms limited but powerful role in Dune: Part Three
Rebecca Ferguson, who has played Lady Jessica in the first two Dune films, confirmed she will appear in Dune: Part Three but said her part is limited to a single scene. She added that the scene will be one of the strongest in the film. When pressed on the press tour by Steve Weintraub, Ferguson praised the script as "It’s phenomenal," calling a three-part film rare and noting it’s her first time in such a project.
She said the story “keeps getting better and better,” adding that she loved Dune one and considers two a “fundamentally fantastic continuation.” Ferguson will return to the franchise alongside Timothée Chalamet, Anya Taylor-Joy, Robert Pattinson, Jason Momoa, Florence Pugh, Zendaya, Javier Bardem and others.
Dune: Part Three is set for theatrical release on December 18, 2026. Before she goes back to Arrakis, Ferguson stars opposite Cillian Murphy in The Immortal Man, the Peaky Blinders spin-off arriving on Netflix on March 20.
