Rebecca Ferguson says Peaky Blinders movie works as a standalone film

Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man is set to bring the era of Tommy Shelby to an explosive end. Alongside many returning favorites, the Netflix movie introduces new figures, including Rebecca Ferguson's mysterious Queen of the Palmer Witches, Kaulo Chirklo.

Ferguson says being up to speed with the (mis)adventures of Shelby and co. isn't a prerequisite. While she was familiar with Peaky Blinders, she was still several seasons behind when co-star Cillian Murphy called to ask her to play Chirklo.

Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man is playing now in theaters, and releases on Netflix from 20 March.
