Rebecca Ferguson’s Silo Returns This Summer; Series Climbs Apple TV Charts
Rebecca Ferguson will reprise Juliette Nichols in the third season of Silo, which she confirmed in an interview will return before the end of this summer. The series ran two seasons back-to-back in 2023 and 2024 and has been on a brief hiatus since. Silo is set in an alternate dystopia where the last humans live underground in a self-sustaining silo.
The story shifts when Juliette’s silo is revealed to be one of hundreds of underground bunkers, a development that upends the community’s understanding of their world. News of the show’s imminent return pushed Silo back into Apple TV’s top 10 in more than 15 countries.
Ferguson’s turn as Juliette has become one of her most prominent roles, and many fans and critics have argued she deserved Emmy recognition for the performance. Ferguson has had a busy year, starring opposite Chris Pratt in the sci-fi thriller Mercy and preparing to appear with Andrew Garfield in The Magic Faraway Tree, which opens in select theaters on March 27.
