Rebecca Ferguson and Chris Pratt star in Mercy, a sci-fi thriller set in a dystopian future. Pratt plays a detective accused of killing his wife, and Ferguson appears as an AI judge who gives the accused 90 minutes to prove their innocence. The film opened in theaters on January 19, 2026, and runs 100 minutes.

Critics gave Mercy a 25% score on Rotten Tomatoes while audiences scored it 83% on Popcornmeter; it grossed $54 million against a $60 million budget, and a strong VOD run helped recoup some of its costs. Prime Video will begin streaming the film for all subscribers on March 22.

Directed by Timur Bekmambetov and written by Marco van Belle, Mercy was produced by Charles Roven, Majd Nassif, Robert Amidon and Timur Bekmambetov.
