Rebecca Gayheart seen for first time since Eric Dane's death

Rebecca Gayheart emerged for the first time since her husband Eric Dane’s death, pictured leaving the Los Angeles home where the Grey’s Anatomy star had been living. She wore a beige trench coat, glasses and an updo, carrying a black leather handbag as she exited the property on Friday.

Dane died on Thursday at the age of 53 following a battle with ALS. A family statement said he spent his final days surrounded by dear friends, his devoted wife and their two daughters, Billie and Georgia, and noted that he became a passionate advocate for awareness and research during his illness.

Dane had told People he was "grateful to have my loving family by my side as we navigate this next chapter." Dane revealed his diagnosis in April 2025, weeks after he and Gayheart called off their divorce. The couple married in 2004 and are parents to Billie, 15, and Georgia, 14; Gayheart had filed for divorce in 2018 but later called it off amid his diagnosis.
