Rebecca Loos backs Brooklyn, slams Victoria over 'inappropriate' wedding dance

Rebecca Loos, who has previously been linked to David Beckham, is publicly supporting Brooklyn Beckham and criticising Victoria Beckham over an alleged “inappropriate” dance at Brooklyn’s 2022 Palm Beach wedding, comments she makes in the Channel 4 documentary “The Beckham Feud: Truth and Lies,” set to premiere Sunday.

Brooklyn has said singer Marc Anthony called for the “most beautiful woman in the room” to join him on stage at the wedding and then specified Victoria, leaving him “humiliated” and “uncomfortable.” Loos addresses that claim in a clip from the documentary. “I think any other mother would’ve read the room and understood this is awkward,” Loos says in the clip, adding that “whether it came from her or whether it was Marc Anthony is beside the point because it shows a lack of awareness for other people’s feelings.” She suggested someone should have defused the moment so the bride, Nicola Peltz, could have had the dance.

Loos frames Brooklyn’s public statement as a form of validation for her own 2004 allegations about David Beckham, saying the row exposes “inauthentic relationships” and a focus on “brand Beckham.” Brooklyn’s Jan. 19 statement said he had no desire to “reconcile” with his parents and accused them of “constantly disrespecting” his wife, including claiming Victoria canceled making Peltz’s wedding dress at the last minute.

The Channel 4 documentary is due to air Sunday.
