Reco raises $30M Series B amid AI cybersecurity demand
New York-based cybersecurity startup Reco raised $30 million in a Series B round led by Zeev Ventures, with participation from existing investors Insight Partners and Boldstart Ventures. New corporate investors for this round include Workday Ventures, TIAA Ventures, S Ventures, and Quadrille Capital.
The company said growth climbed 500% year-over-year in 2024 and another 400% in 2025 as businesses rapidly expanded AI use. Cybersecurity startups collectively raised nearly $14 billion in 2025, a 47% increase from 2024 and the most funding since 2021. Reco was founded in 2020 by Ofer Klein, Gal Nakash, and Tal Shapira to bridge the gap between existing cybersecurity protections and the AI tools employees use.
Klein said, "AI adoption has accelerated exponentially, and companies that blocked AI access a year ago cannot block it anymore," and that the firm repeatedly beat internal plans as AI went from blocked to mandatory.
