I returned to Red Lobster's Times Square restaurant to compare the chain's 2024 Endless Shrimp meal with the revived Shrimp Your Way in 2026. In June 2024 Endless Shrimp was priced at $25, though at the Times Square location it cost $30 for unlimited refills; Shrimp Your Way lets guests pick two, three, or four kinds of shrimp plus a side — I chose three (grilled shrimp, Walt's favorite, and Parrot Isle coconut shrimp) for $25.99.

At first the plates looked nearly identical, but the updated menu showed itself in larger sides and bolder flavors. The rice and coleslaw arrived in bigger portions, the grilled shrimp remained garlicky and juicy, and Walt's shrimp was fried to a deeper golden brown with more pronounced seasoning.

I also received extra dipping sauces, and the tartar sauce stood out as my favorite. The coconut shrimp stayed my favorite both times; the piña colada dipping sauce and tender meat kept the same sweet‑savory balance.
