Regular Show revival release date confirmed in leak
A now-pulled YouTube video appears to have revealed the return date for Regular Show: The Lost Tapes, suggesting the revival will arrive on May 11 and teasing a new look on March 23. The comeback was announced in 2024 at the Annecy festival, with creator J.G. Quintel attached.
Regular Show originally ran on Cartoon Network from 2010 to 2017 across 244 episodes, and its eighth season aired as Regular Show in Space. The series follows blue jay Mordecai and raccoon Rigby, who slack off at a park for their boss Benson and interact with characters including Muscle Man, Hi Five Ghost, and Skips.
Voice cast members expected to return include Quintel, Sam Marin, Mark Hamill, William Salyers, and Janie Haddad Tompkins, and the show's official YouTube channel is currently streaming a marathon of season 6. Over its run the show earned multiple Annie and Emmy nominations, and spawned a 2015 movie, a Nintendo 3DS game titled Mordecai and Rigby in 8-Bit Land, and a lawsuit from Billy Mitchell.
