Rebecca Ferguson has become one of the more prominent performers in both film and television, standing out in projects from Mission: Impossible to Denis Villeneuve’s Dune and headlining Apple TV’s Silo, which has enjoyed strong seasons. She remains busy with upcoming films and series while her past work continues to circulate.

In 2021 Ferguson reunited with Hugh Jackman for Reminiscence, a sci‑fi thriller set in a flood‑ravaged future where people live off memories. Warner Bros. reportedly spent just north of $50 million on the film, but it grossed only $16.4 million worldwide as it arrived during a period when many releases struggled at the box office.

Lisa Joy wrote and directed Reminiscence, her first feature after earlier television work including an episode of Westworld; she most recently directed an episode of Fallout Season 2. The film’s reception was mixed, with a 37% score on Rotten Tomatoes, and it is not currently streaming in America, though it may return to HBO Max.
