Resident Evil Requiem Concept Art Spoiler Raises Big Questions About Leon
Resident Evil Requiem lingers on ex-cop Leon Kennedy amid the ruined Raccoon City but reveals little about what he’s been doing since Resident Evil 6 and the CGI movies. The game makes clear he carries a t-Virus strain, works with the DSO, and stays in contact with familiar characters, yet one piece of concept art and a brief scene hint at a personal detail that goes unexplained.
The concept art shows the infection running down Leon’s arm to his hand. He keeps it hidden with a glove for much of the game, though the infected hand is visible at times, and the art also depicts a healthy version of the hand wearing a wedding band. At the very end of Requiem, after Leon is cured, he removes the gloves and appears to put the ring back on, as if he avoided wearing it while the t-Virus was affecting his hand.
That moment raises the obvious question of who he’s married to.
