After four days of effort, players have finally solved The Final Puzzle in Resident Evil Requiem, a lengthy and convoluted challenge that began with decoding which DNA letters correspond to sun, moon, or star symbols. The solution hinges on obtaining a Marie doll at a specific moment in the playthrough and completing a string of odd tasks.

One key sequence takes place in the basement at the grinder: save, wait about 15 minutes for bodies to fall into the disposal, then turn the conveyor off and jump into the pit without killing the zombies. As BigRedtheBard put it, “We don't get the doll if we don't AFK at the grinder.” Players are meant to ensure the zombies die by the grinder — by shooting legs or stunning them — so there’s enough blood in the system to drag the doll up.
