Resident Evil Requiem pull-up bar bundle sold out in under five hours

Capcom and e-commerce talent firm Yume Group offered a Japan-only "Terrifying Nightmare Set" that bundled Resident Evil Requiem (PS5 or Nintendo Switch 2) with an at-home pull-up bar presented in a custom box. Priced at 19,800 JPY, the run was limited to 50 sets and sold out in under five hours.

The bundle’s infomercial pitches the pull-up bar as a way to relieve back and waist tension brought on by fear, and it also doubles as a clothes rack. The promo explicitly references the game’s reveal trailer, in which Grace Ashcroft appears strapped to a table upside down.

A recent hands-on described Requiem as striking a balance between action and horror, and one writer suggested the bundle should be offered internationally. Capcom has pursued other unusual collaborations for the title, including a partnership with Hamilton on two watch models limited to 2,000 pieces, priced at $1,475 for Grace’s model and $2,175 for Leon’s.
