Resident Evil Requiem story expansion announced

Capcom has confirmed a story expansion for Resident Evil Requiem. Game director Koshi Nakanishi revealed the project in a video posted to the official Resident Evil X account, saying, "We are planning to make extra story content," and that the team will "delve deeper into the world of Requiem." He added they are "hard at work on it now" but warned it "will take some time" and asked for patience.

Nakanishi also outlined further updates for the base game, including a photo mode and "another surprise coming around May." "We’re planning to add a minigame," he said, though he did not reveal what that would entail. Two recent entries in the franchise received The Mercenaries shortly after launch, so a similar mode for Requiem seems possible.
