'RHOM' stars on chopping block as Bravo delays Season 8
Several Real Housewives of Miami cast members may not return for Season 8. Names under consideration for removal include Guerdy Abraira and Julia Lemigova, and there may be a third cut that would surprise fans. Stephanie Shojaee is not sold on coming back for a sophomore season.
Todd Nepola’s $10 million defamation lawsuit, filed as the Season 7 reunion aired, has complicated plans for his on-again, off-again ex-wife, Alexia Nepola, a fan favorite. Todd later filed to dismiss the suit with prejudice in December, and showrunners have worked around his issues in the past and would do so again.
Executives also weighed the cast’s performance at BravoCon 2025, where their panel was regarded as far from the most seamless of the weekend, which did not prompt producers to rush back into production. Conversations about restarting filming in April or next month have taken place, but dates have not been locked and contracts have not been sent.
