Riccardo Braschi: 'Cavani-style' striker leading Fiorentina Primavera

Fiorentina's first team has struggled this season, sitting fourth-last in the standings and close to the relegation zone in Serie B. At the same time the club's Primavera sit third, two points behind Roma, under Daniele Galloppa, who has also been on the first-team bench under Pioli and Vanoli.

Riccardo Braschi was born in Florence on 24 August 2006 and has worn Fiorentina purple since childhood, rising through the club's youth system to become a regular starter for the Primavera. A pure centre forward with a strong physique, he has developed an eye for goal in the box, can operate in tight spaces and is comfortable playing with his back to goal.

He showed his personality by chipping a penalty against Parma just two minutes after coming on, and draws comparisons with Edinson Cavani while often celebrating in a Batistuta style.
