Collider reports that Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty has surged on Netflix’s Top TV charts even as the series is set to exit the streamer in numerous regions.

All eight seasons were made available in unaffected countries like Australia, helping bring the sci‑fi animated series back onto viewers’ radars; as of writing it sits at #9 on Netflix’s Top TV Shows worldwide, between Cashero and Parish. Before the New Year, it was reported the show would be pulled from the streaming giant in some countries from December 30th to 31st, including Germany, Italy, and the UK, while regions such as Oceania, Cyprus, and Iceland still have access. North American viewers can still watch Rick and Morty on HBO Max.

With Netflix’s recent deal to acquire Warner Bros., the show could return to the streamer once that deal is finalized, or HBO Max could remain separate and retain the series. Rick and Morty, created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon, premiered December 2, 2013, currently totals eight seasons, has produced spin‑offs such as Rick and Morty: The Anime, and has more episodes along with a new spin‑off called President Curtis reportedly in the works.
