Robert Pattinson's 'Dune 3' Villain and Duncan Idaho's Return Revealed

Fans were given first looks at all-new characters and familiar faces from Dune: Part Three, arriving only hours after Paul Atreides actor Timothée Chalamet took to Instagram to show off a new look at his "hero." The fresh posters include a first glimpse of Robert Pattinson's villainous character in the sequel.

Both Pattinson and director Denis Villeneuve have been quiet about what role the actor will be taking. Those familiar with the source material, Dune: Messiah, have speculated that Pattinson will be playing Scytale, and with a teaser for the movie set to arrive tomorrow we probably won't have to wait much longer to get insight into the frightening figure.

The new posters showcase just how impressive the ensemble is for Dune: Part Three, and underscore that Villeneuve brought together some of the biggest names in Hollywood for the sci-fi epic. What might come as a major surprise to those unfamiliar with the Dune books is that Momoa's Duncan Idaho is back, despite having been killed in Dune: Part One.
