Recalled veteran Andy Robertson produced a goal and an assist as Liverpool returned to Molineux to beat Wolves 3-1 and secure a place in the FA Cup quarter-finals. The result offered some redemption after Tuesday's embarrassing Premier League defeat at the same ground.

Robertson started ahead of Milos Kerkez and opened the scoring shortly after the interval with a first-time strike from outside the area, then set up Mohamed Salah with a quality cross for a simple finish at the back post. Curtis Jones added a third with a neat run and finish from the edge of the box, while Wolves pulled one back in injury time when Hwang Hee-Chan finished from a Sam Johnstone punt.

Individual ratings highlighted a solid defensive response: Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk each earned 7/10, Robertson 8/10, while Alisson and Dominik Szoboszlai were marked 6/10. In midfield, Curtis Jones was rated 8/10, Ryan Gravenberch and Alexis Mac Allister 6/10, the latter leaving late after a challenge from Hwang Hee-Chan.
