Rodri reported to police after neighbours complain about drone
Manchester City midfielder Rodri has been reported to police by residents of a Salford high-rise who say a drone flown from his penthouse has come dangerously close to their windows, raising concerns about voyeurism and possible breaches of aviation law. Neighbours complained the device's green flashing lights left them unnerved.
Residents say the Ballon d'Or winner flew the unmanned aerial vehicle metres from high-floor windows at night. Building WhatsApp groups circulated alleged photos of a man on a balcony with a controller, and neighbours have lodged formal complaints citing potential breaches of Civil Aviation Authority rules and harassment.
One resident on the 34th floor described the moment he and his partner saw the drone close to their window, saying: 'I live with my partner on a high floor and the last thing you expect to see when you’re watching telly is a drone a metre outside the window.
