Rolling Square unveils AirNotch Pro Dual tracker for Android and iOS users
Rolling Square has released the AirNotch Pro Dual finder tags, which ZDNET reviewed as a practical alternative for Android users who want a Bluetooth tracker they can keep on a keychain instead of an AirTag.
ZDNET says the tags are compatible with both Apple's Find My and Google's Find Hub networks; switching between networks requires resetting the tags and pairing them with the new device. The review highlights built-in attachment hardware—a loop on the tag and a split ring included in the box—so no extra accessory is needed to attach the tag to keys.
The review describes a robust build: a CNC-machined aluminum frame, ribbed ABS shells, Torx screws, and an IP68 water- and dust-resistance rating. Each tag uses two CR2032 batteries rated for about 20 months, and features dual buzzers (20mm and 15mm) on opposite sides for omnidirectional sound plus photoluminescent glow-in-the-dark elements. ZDNET's reviewer tested an unobstructed range of about 300 feet and said the tag was findable hidden behind a couch and loud enough to be heard from another room or outdoors. Batteries can be changed with a coin, the outlet noted.
ZDNET's buying advice calls the AirNotch Pro Dual a premium product at about $40 and recommends it to Android users alongside the AirCard Pro Dual. The review also notes the tags do not offer AirTag-style precision finding, but, as ZDNET put it, they "beat the AirTags in pretty much every other way."
