Ronaldo to undergo treatment in Madrid after more serious injury
Al-Nassr manager Jorge Jesus has confirmed Cristiano Ronaldo will face a prolonged spell on the sidelines after a significant muscular setback. The Portuguese forward has travelled to Madrid for specialist rehabilitation as concerns grow over his availability for both club and country during a pivotal part of the season.
Ronaldo limped out of his last match with thigh pain and internal tests revealed a significant tear in the back of his right thigh. He has been ruled out of immediate fixtures, including the clash against Neom, and flew by private jet to Madrid to work with his long-term medical team.
The club prioritised the players access to familiar, high-level care despite regional tensions. Addressing the issue in a pre-match press conference, Jesus said: "In the last game he left with muscle complaints. After undergoing tests it became clear that the injury was more serious than expected, requiring rest and recovery.
