Rosalba Giarratano engages communities in GLOBE and other NASA programs. She leads the ENGAGE GLOBE Mission Earth program, offering guidance and training to teachers across the United States. Her work has been part of groups honored with multiple awards, including the 2021 Agency Honor Group Achievement Award for GLOBE and the 2021 Robert H.

Goddard Group Achievement Award for the Climate Change Research Initiative. In 2017 she received the Kennedy Space Center Public Engagement Directorate Outstanding Contribution You Rock Award. Giarratano holds a B.S. in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Tecnologico de Monterrey, Mexico City; an M.S.

in Information Systems from Pace University, White Plains, NY; and an M.S. in Childhood Education — Bilingual from the New York Institute of Technology, Old Westbury, NY.
