Rosenior delighted with Chelsea start after Palmer hat-trick
Liam Rosenior said his start at Chelsea could not have been any better after the Blues beat Wolves 3-1, a fourth successive Premier League victory. Cole Palmer's first-half hat-trick put Chelsea firmly in control.
Rosenior warned against complacency after a second-half dip that allowed Wolves back into the game: "No disrespect to Wolves. Their second half was good, they made it difficult, they put balls in our box. But those moments came from our sloppiness. We gave the ball away cheaply whereas in the first half we were crisp with out passing. And those are things we need to improve moving forward."
Palmer praised Rosenior's impact, saying, "Life under Liam is amazing, he gives us all confidence. Lets us be ourselves, play free." He also admitted he is not fully fit yet: "I don't think [I'm 100% fit] just yet."
Rosenior highlighted the positives but insisted the focus must remain on improvement as Chelsea prepare for what he called, "a difficult game on Tuesday against a strong Leeds team."
