Game developer and technical artist Freya Holmér shared a glimpse of a side project: a rotational twist on Tetris where dropping a piece rotates the screen 90 degrees toward the side where your blocks landed. She posted the prototype saying shed been feeling stressed and asking, "Is this anything?" The clip has been viewed on X more than 2 million times, and users on Bluesky and elsewhere praised the idea; even Tim Schafer said it looks sick.

Less than five hours after Holmrs post, a user replied that "this can be built into a game by tomorrow," and four hours and 39 minutes later returned with their own rotating-Tetris clip, which they admitted was produced with AI tools.
