Lionsgate has released the first official trailer for Beast, an MMA thriller written by Russell Crowe and set to arrive on April 10, 2026. Crowe stars in the film alongside Daniel MacPherson, Luke Hemsworth, Bren Foster, Amy Shark, Mojean Aria, Kelly Gale and Ricky Whittle.

Director Tyler Atkins describes the story as a comeback tale: a once-feared MMA champion returns to the cage when his younger brother is put in danger. Reuniting with the trainer who made him a legend, he commits to one final showdown against the reigning title-holder, a brutal fighter determined to dismantle the ex-champ’s legacy. The contender’s stakes are simple: win, or lose everything he’s built.

Crowe remains active onscreen after starring in Nuremberg, which grossed over $50 million and is now streaming on Netflix. He is also working on a Highlander reboot with Henry Cavill directed by Chad Stahelski. Other Crowe films available on Netflix include Land of Bad, Boy Erased and Kraven the Hunter.
