Russell Crowe WWII Drama Nuremberg Streams on Netflix
Nuremberg (2025), directed by James Vanderbilt and starring Rami Malek and Russell Crowe, lands on Netflix on March 7 after grossing $46 million theatrically and heading to PVOD in December. The film follows U.S. Army psychiatrist Dr. Douglas Kelley (Malek) as he analyzes Nazi war criminals in Nuremberg, with Kelley’s study of Hermann Göring (Crowe) at its center.
Based on Jack El‑Hai’s The Nazi and the Psychiatrist (2013), Nuremberg premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival last September before going wide domestically in November, did well overseas, and maintains a 95% audience approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
The Hollywood Reporter called Vanderbilt’s work “commanding” and said it “couldn’t have arrived at a more consequential time,” while critics questioned the film’s omission from this year’s Oscar race.
