Early in the year Crowe has been relatively quiet. A few upcoming projects — Bear Country, The Last Druid and Unabom — have finished filming and are expected to premiere in 2026, but none yet have spots on the release calendar. Last year proved busier: Nuremberg, Crowe’s long‑gestating WWII drama, reached theaters in 2025.

He starred alongside Rami Malek and Michael Shannon and was at one point considered a possible Oscar contender for his turn as Hermann Göring, though he ultimately did not receive a nomination. Another recent release, Land of Bad, wasn’t an awards frontrunner but has found an audience.

Crowe co-stars with Luke and Liam Hemsworth in the film about a Delta Force strike team aided by a legendary drone pilot; Crowe plays that pilot, appearing in the thriller without being directly in the field. In the U.S. the film streams exclusively on Netflix, while it has charted in the VOD top 10 in several countries on Apple TV and Google.
