Russia struck Ukrainian energy infrastructure on Saturday night with hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles, forcing emergency outages across the country and prompting Kyiv to request emergency electricity assistance from Poland. The bombardment hit high-voltage transmission lines that form the backbone of the national grid, along with power plants and substations, Energy Minister Denys Shmyhal said.
