Ryan Gosling's new movie Project Hail Mary opens March 20. During his March 18 appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, the host and producers showed a clip of his first acting role on the Canadian TV series Psi Factor: Chronicles of the Paranormal. He described the show as "a kind of Unsolved Mysteries sort of way about paranormal," which was hosted by Dan Aykroyd.

In the vintage clip he played a child who was abducted by aliens, running through a field before being zapped with delightfully '90s-style special effects. After the footage, Meyers said, "Oh my God, you were built for it," and the two reenacted the scene; Gosling asked, "Should we do it?" as they convulsed.

Gosling's Late Night visit came less than two weeks after his March 7 SNL hosting gig. He immediately spotted two familiar crew members — Wally Feresten and Donna Richards — and called them out onstage. "You got Wally here?" he asked. "Does everyone know Cue Card Wally?" Feresten has been manning the SNL cue cards since 1990.
