Ryan Gravenberch signs long-term Liverpool contract
Ryan Gravenberch has signed a new long-term contract at Anfield, committing the Netherlands international to Liverpool. The former Bayern Munich midfielder has become a pillar of the Reds' midfield since his arrival, and the deal, finalised on Saturday, rewards the 23-year-old for his strong form under fellow countryman Arne Slot.
The club did not specify the length of the deal, but The Athletic has it running until the summer of 2032. Since swapping the Bundesliga for the Premier League in September 2023, Gravenberch has developed from a rotational option into an indispensable starter, making 123 appearances and scoring eight goals.
On the club’s website he said he had no doubts about extending his stay. "I feel really, really good," Gravenberch said. "I was really proud to extend my contract at such a big club. So, I’m really happy that I can stay for many more years. I felt directly the trust from the club, also from the manager.
