Samsung is rumored to unveil a Brain Health feature at CES 2026 designed to detect early signs of dementia.

Reports say the feature will analyze metrics such as gait patterns, changes in voice and sleep status to look for early cognitive decline, though its unclear whether it will run on Samsung smartphones, smartwatches or smart rings.

Sammobile also reported the feature will include guidance and prevention instructions, and could offer a brain training program intended to boost cognitive function.

ChoSun says Samsung has completed in-house development of Brain Health and is now carrying out clinical validation.

The move builds on Samsungs recent health-tracking work in wearables, including sensors on the Galaxy Watch line such as an Antioxidant Index and standard tools like blood pressure, ECG and irregular rhythm detection, plus features for bedtime guidance and race training.

Researchers predict over 42% of adults aged 55 and older will develop dementia, highlighting a shift from tracking physical conditions to collecting data aimed at identifying cognitive issues. Samsung did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
