Samsung moves its CES 2026 keynote to Sunday, promising AI updates and new TVs
Samsung will kick off its CES 2026 presence with a Sunday night presentation instead of its usual Monday midday press conference. The event, titled "The First Look," will stream live from the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas on Sunday, January 4 at 10PM ET. Viewers can watch via the Samsung Newsroom, Samsung Electronics' official YouTube channel or Samsung TV Plus.
TM Roh, CEO of Samsung's Device eXperience Division, will deliver the keynote and discuss the company's plans for the year, including "new AI-driven customer experiences," the company said. SW Yong, President and Head of the Visual Display Business, and Cheolgi Kim, Executive Vice President and Head of Digital Appliances Business, will speak about their business directions for the coming year.
Samsung has teased multiple product lines ahead of the show through near-daily press releases. Confirmed items include a range of micro RGB TVs in sizes from 55 to 115 inches, a full line of appliances featuring Bespoke AI, the Music Studio 5 and 7 speakers, and the Freestyle+ portable projector.
The company has also announced new gaming monitors, highlighted by a 32-inch Odyssey with a 6K screen and glasses-free 3D. Other expected models include a 27-inch Odyssey G6 and Odyssey G8 variants. Attendees and viewers are also watching for an update on Samsung's Ballie robot, a recurring CES highlight that missed a previously suggested 2025 release window.
