Samsung upgrades Freestyle projector with brighter image and smarter features
Samsung has unveiled the Freestyle+, the latest version of its portable Freestyle projector line, building on features from previous models.
The Freestyle+ doubles the brightness of its predecessor to 430 ISO lumens.
It keeps the 180-degree rotating design for flexible placement and adds a built-in 360-degree speaker so external audio is unnecessary.
New imaging features include 3D Auto Keystone for distortion correction on uneven surfaces, real-time focus that adjusts as the projector moves, screen fit for compatible screens, and wall calibration to minimize surface color or pattern distractions.
The device supports Samsung's Vision AI Companion, enabling conversational, on-screen questions about content.
Samsung has not revealed price or full specifications, but said the Freestyle+ will be available globally in the first half of the year; the company suggested a premium price point given prior Freestyle models priced at $899 and $799.
