Samsung will release two budget devices in the US next month: the Galaxy A17 5G, starting at $199 on January 7, and the Galaxy Tab A11+, arriving January 8 for $250.

The Galaxy A17 5G features a 6.7‑inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display and uses the Exynos 1330 chip also found in the Galaxy A16 5G. Its camera array mirrors last year’s model with a 50MP main sensor, 5MP ultrawide, 2MP macro and a 13MP front camera. The base configuration includes 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, expandable up to 2TB via microSD. A 5,000mAh battery supports fast charging.

The Galaxy Tab A11+ offers an 11‑inch LCD, an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. Storage and memory come in two configurations: 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, or 8GB RAM with 256GB storage, and both support microSD expansion. Samsung rates the tablet for up to 15 hours of video playback and includes fast‑charging support.

Both devices target entry‑level buyers looking for basic, reliable hardware without premium pricing, continuing Samsung’s budget‑focused product line.
