Samsung Odyssey G9 49-inch curved monitor on sale at Amazon for $899.99

As of Jan. 19, the 49-inch Samsung Odyssey G9 curved gaming monitor is on sale at Amazon for $899.99, down from its usual price of $1,289.

The price represents a $389.01 reduction, a 30% discount, and Mashable noted it is within $1.99 of the lowest price the outlet has seen at Amazon.

The Odyssey G9 features a 1,800R curvature and an ultrawide 49-inch display, with gaming-focused specs including a 240Hz refresh rate, 0.03ms response time and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro. Samsung also provides extra burn-in protection via three-year warranty coverage, and the model has a slim metal design and an adjustable-height stand.

With the included stand the monitor measures about 11 inches in depth, and Mashable said the display can also be useful for work or rewatching Heated Rivalry. The outlet did not state how long the sale would last.
