Samsung to open CES 2026 with Sunday-night "First Look" livestream
Samsung will kick off CES 2026 with an early Sunday night presentation instead of its longtime midday Monday slot.
The event streams live from the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas on Sunday, January 4 at 10 PM ET. Viewers can watch via the Samsung Newsroom, Samsung Electronics’ official YouTube channel, or Samsung TV Plus.
TM Roh, CEO of Samsung’s Device eXperience (DX) Division, will deliver the keynote and discuss the company’s plans, including “new AI-driven customer experiences.” SW Yong, President and Head of the Visual Display Business, and Cheolgi Kim, Executive Vice President and Head of the Digital Appliances Business, will outline their business directions.
Samsung has teased several product areas ahead of the show. The company has confirmed a line of micro RGB TVs in sizes from 55 to 115 inches and says it will offer appliances infused with what it calls “Bespoke AI.” Fans are also hoping for an update on the Ballie robot, a recurring CES highlight that missed its earlier 2025 release target.
Samsung is following an “Advent calendar” approach, releasing new press information nearly daily. More details are likely to appear as the January 4 presentation approaches.
