Sandra Bernhard Teases Role in The White Lotus Season 4

Sandra Bernhard is one of the guests headed to The White Lotus for its fourth season. She kept details of her character under wraps when she spoke on the red carpet before the Actor Awards, where her recent projects Severance and Marty Supreme are both up for awards.

On approaching the new role she said, "Well, I think any time you're, like, thrown into, you know, a really classic, you know, setting, that's established itself, you're going to find a new way into a character, to not make it cliché. That's what I always try to do as a performer, and the actors really peel away the layers of artifice." The new season moves the action to France, with filming planned at the 19th-century palace-turned-luxury hotel Château de La Messardière in Saint-Tropez on the Côte d’Azur, as well as in Paris and elsewhere on the French Riviera; filming may coincide with the Cannes Film Festival.
