Sarah Ashley Gall and Holden Scott Rosen Grupp were married on Jan. 10 at 99 Scott, an event space in Brooklyn, in a ceremony led by Rabbi Arielle Stein of Congregation Rodeph Sholom. They first crossed paths at a friend’s birthday party in October 2022, when Ms. Gall told Mr. Rosen Grupp, "I think you’re really cute.

If you’re ever single, call me." He had a girlfriend then and they did not reconnect until he sent her a direct message on Instagram in late August 2023; they met at Horses and Divorces in Williamsburg and began seeing each other through afternoon walks and lunches. Mr. Rosen Grupp confessed his feelings on New Year’s Eve at a fundraiser for the ELM Foundation.

In May 2024 he moved into Ms. Gall’s Williamsburg studio; around that time she began converting to Judaism, a process she completed at Congregation Rodeph Sholom, which later officiated their wedding. They became engaged on July 2, 2025, while visiting Ms. Gall’s family in Laguna Beach, when an artist revealed a painting that read, "Sarah, will you marry me?" After she said yes, about 70 friends and family surprised them at Romeo Cucina.

For the wedding they seated roughly 225 guests in a circle to "join the two sides," and the night before they signed their marriage license and the ketubah at Radegast Hall & Biergarten as 130 guests cheered; Mr. Rosen Grupp said, "We couldn’t get off the dance floor. Everybody’s shirts were drenched." Ms.
