New satellite images provided by Airbus show heavy damage at a compound in Tehran that houses the office and principal residence of Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The photos depict collapsed buildings, felled trees, and smoke rising from the House of Leadership's roof.

The nearby Imam Khomeini Hussainia, a large place of worship used by Iranian leaders, appears to have debris on its roof; it is unclear whether it was struck. A satellite image from February 28, 2025, shows the complex once included at least six buildings, all of which are now damaged.

A wider shot suggests the damage was largely confined to Khamenei's compound and that neighboring buildings remain intact. Officials have not confirmed whether Khamenei was present during the strikes, though the US, Israel, and Iran all said that he was killed on Saturday.
