Savannah Guthrie pleads after video of mother's alleged kidnapper released
Savannah Guthrie posted chilling footage on Instagram of an armed, masked individual approaching her 84-year-old mother Nancy Guthrie’s Tucson, Ariz., home. The black-and-white clip was first shared by FBI Director Kash Patel; Guthrie wrote, “Someone out there recognizes this person,” and urged, “Bring her home.” In a separate upload the “Today” show anchor added, “We believe she is still alive,” and asked anyone with information to call 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324) or the Pima County Sheriff’s Department at 520-351-4900.
Patel said law enforcement uncovered previously inaccessible images recovered from residual data located in backend systems. He wrote that over the last eight days the FBI and the Pima County Sheriff’s Department have worked with private-sector partners to recover any images or video that may have been lost, corrupted or inaccessible, including after recording devices were removed.
