Michael Saylor, co-founder of Bitcoin treasury company Strategy, signaled the firm is acquiring more BTC amid the market dip, marking week 12 of consecutive purchases. He posted Strategy’s BTC accumulation chart on X, a visual now associated with the company’s buys and indicating an upcoming 99th transaction.

Strategy’s most recent purchase occurred on Feb. 9, when it bought 1,142 BTC for more than $90 million, bringing its holdings to 714,644 BTC, valued at about $49.3 billion at the time of publication. Bitcoin and the broader crypto markets fell sharply after an October flash crash that pushed BTC down more than 50% from its all-time high above $125,000 and below Strategy’s $76,000 cost basis, the company’s average acquisition price.

Despite that downturn and analyst suggestions the firm might sell or pause accumulation in a market-wide slump, Strategy has continued to add to its position.
