Scaramucci: Bitcoin Correction Is 'Garden Variety' and Follows Four-Year Cycle
Anthony Scaramucci says the current Bitcoin bear market can be explained by the four-year cycle and long-term holders selling at the $100,000 psychological level. He added that institutional investors and inflows from BTC exchange-traded funds have muted volatility without erasing traditional cycles, and observed: "We're in a four-year cycle, and there were some traditional whales, some OG's, that believe in the four-year cycle, and guess what happens in life when you believe in something?
You create a self-fulfilling prophecy." Scaramucci expects choppy price action for most of the year, with a new bull market beginning in the fourth quarter of 2026. He had been among those forecasting Bitcoin to reach $150,000 in 2025 on hopes of a pro-crypto US agenda and friendlier regulators, but said the October crash from about $126,000 to $60,000 shattered that consensus.
