Sean 'Diddy' Combs to be released early as he appeals 4-year sentence

Sean “Diddy” Combs will be released a month and a half early after the Federal Bureau of Prisons moved his date from June 4, 2028, to April 25, 2028. He was accepted into the Residential Drug Abuse Program (RDAP) in November, which could help shorten his sentence.

A representative said, "Mr. Combs is an active participant in the Residential Drug Abuse Program (RDAP) and has taken his rehabilitation process seriously from the start. He is fully engaged in his work, focused on growth, and committed to positive change." His release date had been changed before: in November 2025 the sentence was increased from May 8, 2028, to June 4, 2028 after alleged prison rule violations.
