Sebastian Bach apologizes over Christina Applegate, Brad Pitt incident
Sebastian Bach apologized after Christina Applegate’s memoir revealed she left Brad Pitt at the 1989 MTV Video Music Awards to spend time with him. "[I] was very surprised when that all hit," the Skid Row frontman said, adding, "I was a single guy on tour, in a band, and I met a lot of girls and I apologize if I hurt her, if I hurt anybody." Applegate, 54, writes in You With the Sad Eyes that she took Pitt to the show but spent the night "staring at Bach" and, still 17, "felt so powerful and sure of [herself] for once" and "left the show with Sebastian Bach." She recalls Pitt drove her mother home and was "very mad at me" after an altercation at a gas station; the two "didn't talk" for many years.
She says she later regretted the decision after learning Bach was in a relationship and had a 1-year-old child.
