Secret identity of Spence affair whistleblower revealed

Posters alleging an affair between two staff members appeared on lampposts and other surfaces around Spence on Tuesday. The black-on-white printouts claimed one staffer was involved with a subordinate who is married with a three year old son. Many parents suspected the spouse of one of the alleged lovers had put up the signs, but the poster has been linked to the father of the woman said to have been scorned.

A source close to him said he was very angry and took it upon himself to act, adding that it is his daughter and his grandson who are the victims. Insiders say the relationship has been going on for about a year and a half; the man allegedly confessed a year ago but said it was over and the family have been trying to rebuild.

One of the alleged lovers has been on Spence’s staff for more than 10 years. The matter resurfaced recently when the man at the center of the allegations learned about the posters and called the wife about them.
