Securitize Plans RWA Stablecoin with OKX, STBL, Hamilton Lane — Cointelegraph.com News

Securitize is launching a stablecoin backed by tokenized private credit assets in partnership with Hamilton Lane, OKX Ventures and stablecoin infrastructure firm STBL, aiming to bring institutional real-world asset yield onto blockchain rails. The stablecoin will be issued on OKX’s X Layer and backed by tokenized exposure to Hamilton Lane’s Senior Credit Opportunities Fund through a feeder structure facilitated by Securitize.

It uses a dual-token architecture designed to separate yield generation from the stable unit itself as US lawmakers scrutinize stablecoins that distribute passive returns. STBL called the project a "definitive leap forward in the convergence of institutional private markets and onchain finance," saying it brings deep liquidity, programmable settlement and compliant yield management to the X Layer ecosystem.

Securitize said the structure combines regulated tokenization of private credit with programmable settlement while keeping the stable token distinct from the underlying yield.
